Digital SAT - Test Day Essentials and Tips
Heading to your Digital SAT test center? Knowing what to bring and what to leave behind is crucial for a smooth test experience. We've put together a checklist based on the official College Board website to ensure you're fully prepared.
Must-Haves for Your Digital SAT Test Day
Make sure you have the following items with you:
- A fully charged testing device with the Bluebook™ app installed (check device requirements here). Make sure you've also read our guide on Getting Your Device Ready.
- Face covering (if required at your test center).
- Up-to-date admission ticket. Be sure to also understand the ID Requirements.
- Valid photo ID.
- Pencils or pens for scratch work.
- Approved calculator for the Math section (although Bluebook has an embedded calculator). Read more on our Math Calculator Policy.
- Epinephrine auto-injectors (like EpiPens) are allowed without special accommodations. Place them in a clear bag and store them under your desk during testing. For other medications and medical devices, learn about the Accommodations and Assistive Technology.
Nice-to-Have Items
While not essential, consider bringing these items for added convenience:
- A watch without an audible alarm (Bluebook's app has a built-in timer, but you might want to time your break).
- A device charger, in case your testing device can't hold a charge for 3 hours. Ensure you're familiar with the devices not allowed in the test center.
- A bag or backpack.
- A drink or snacks for your break.
Armed with this knowledge from the official College Board website, you're now equipped for a successful Digital SAT test day. Best of luck, and may the scores be in your favor! Don't forget to check our other articles on What to Expect on Test Day and Easy Prep Tips for Success.
